GOOD NEIGHBOR IN-HOME COUNSELING SERVICES
Our Intensive In-Home Services provides a wrap around program for children and adolescents aged 4-21 years old experiencing mental, emotional or behavioral problems. A comprehensive assessment identifying the needs of the child/adolescent and their family will be the basis of the services provided.
Good Neighbor believes that providing children and adolescents therapeutic services in their homes and communities will assist them in their transition to becoming successful adults. Good Neighbor offers a unique approach to counseling that seeks to foster within the child/adolescent, a positive self-esteem, self worth and purpose. Firebirds Wood Fired Grill introduced a taste of Colorado to the Carolinas when it first opened its doors in Charlotte, North Carolina in December of 2000. The restaurant is the creative concept of owner and restaurateur, Dennis Thompson, who regularly travels out west. He fell in love with the feel of the area as well as the food. HUNTING HAWK
Located alongside the Chickahominy River in Hanover County, Virginia, Hunting Hawk Golf Club is a parkland style course designed by architect W. R. "Bill" Love. This eighteen hole championship course opened for play September of 2000. The course takes advantage of the natural terrain, with many mature trees lining the fairways and natural wetland areas incorporated into the design. This overall design of the course is challenging but forgiving. The fairways are generous, with wide landing areas. Strategic play is required in order to steer clear of the many bunkers, moguls and trees that lie in wait of a careless shot. There are several ponds on the course that come into play on eleven holes. The greens are large, undulating and moderate in speed. Several greens are multi-tiered to provide an additional challenge, and all are guarded by a variety of earthworks, from sand bunkers, to mounds and grass hollows. The course plays from 5,164 to 6,832-yards and features four sets of tees to challenge a variety of skill levels. THE RICHMOND FLYING SQUIRRELS
The Richmond Flying Squirrels are a minor league baseball team in Richmond, Virginia. The team, which is a part of the Eastern League, is the Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants major league club, and plays at The Diamond. The Squirrels were previously known as the Connecticut Defenders.
Led by Vice President and COO, Todd "Parney" Parnell, the Squirrels set an eastern league attendance record in their first year of operation with an average of 6,626 fans per opening. This was achieved through a unique "Let's Go Nuts" campaign that was community focused.
