Farrior Foundation Receives Urban League Award
The James Farrior Foundation was honored on Friday, March 18th by the Urban League of Greater Richmond. The Foundation received the prestigious 2011 Community Service Award.
Thomas Victory, the President and CEO of the Urban League of Greater Richmond stated "The James Farrior foundation works tirelessly through its numerous programs to better the lives of those less fortunate in our community. Through programs such as their scholarship program, Tree of Hope, and Coats at Christmas program, we would like to recognize their contributions and ask that they continue the good work".
The award was presented to both James (President) and Matt (Vice President) Farrior by Mr. Victory and Mr. Larry Murphy, Chairman of the Board for the Urban League.
